PARTIPATION:
The “Majic 95.1, No Repeat Workday Guarantee” will begin Tuesday, December 26, 2017 and end on December 31, 2023, at 5:00pm.
To participate, listen weekdays between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Should WAJI play the exact same song, title and artist more than once, the first caller at (260)-467-9500 will win $1000.00.
A repeated song must be one that played earlier that same day within the time parameters specified, and must play in its entirety for the money to be awarded.
There is only one winner a day during the guarantee.
The prize money will be awarded for the first song only that is repeated during a day. If multiple songs are repeated during a weekday, no additional money will be awarded.
WAJI will award the money after verification that a song has been repeated, and the 1st caller meets all eligibility restrictions.
If the 1st caller does not meet eligibility restrictions, the next caller will be taken until the money is awarded. If no money is awarded, it will remain the property of WAJI.
Once a song is repeated during the designated time, listeners to WAJI have 9 minutes and 51 seconds from the end of the song, to be the 1st caller.
Portions of songs that are featured in commercials, promos, sound bytes and news clips are not considered a song that is repeated in the “No Repeat Workday” guarantee.
A song must play in entirety from beginning to end to be considered one full play. Portions of a song are not considered a song that is repeated in the “No Repeat Workday” guarantee.
Double audio of a song as a result of a technical malfunction does not qualify as a repeated song for the “No Repeat Workday Guarantee”. Even if the double audio of a song plays in its entirety from start to finish, a repeated song must play at two separate times during a weekday within the time parameters to qualify.
The odds of winning money depend on the number of calls received each time a song is repeated.
ELIGIBILITY RESTRICITIONS:
A respondent to winning the No Repeat Workday Guarantee is open to legal residents 18 years of age and older and who reside in the WAJI, Majic 95.1 listening area. Employees and family members of Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., participating retailers/sponsors, and employees of other radio stations in the Fort Wayne Metro area are not eligible to participate and win. Family members are defined as parents, children, spouses, in-laws, those in spouse-like relationships, and siblings (including those in step and half relations when living in the same household.) Anyone who has worked for or interned with Sarkes Tarzian, Inc. is not eligible to participate or win.
You may only win the No Repeat Workday Guarantee once during a calendar year.
One winner per household
If WAJI continues promoting the No Repeat Workday Guarantee as active after the dates in the rules have expired, these rules will automatically renew for another year or until WAJI management cancel the guarantee.
PRIZE:
“$1000.00 to each winner, meeting eligibility restrictions.
Prizes are non-transferable and will be awarded to the 1st caller responding to a song that is repeated during the No Repeat Workday Guarantee timeline, and meets eligibility restrictions.
The Prize must be claimed in person by the winner and no one else, unless otherwise determined by station management.
CONDITIONS:
Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be reported to the IRS on IRS Form 1099 or the equivalent.
By participating in the No Repeat Guarantee, the winners agree to allow their name, voice, and/or likeness to be used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest for a period of one year without any financial or other compensation.
The winners will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Receipt for Prize and Award upon acceptance of the prize.
Pursuant to the above-mentioned paperwork, the winners will agree to hold WAJI, Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., and the respective officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless from and against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the No Repeat Guarantee.
All winners must be 18 years of age or older and must show proper identification and sign a prize receipt and publicity release prior to the acceptance of the prize.
WAJI, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person who is in violation of the rules.
Anyone who has won $600 or more in the last 6 months is also ineligible.
The station further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the No Repeat Guarantee if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
These rules are subject to the interpretation of WAJI. Any aspect of these rules, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, can be changed at the discretion of WAJI, and such changes will become effective upon on-air or other appropriate announcement.
No purchase necessary. The No Repeat Guarantee is void where prohibited.
WAJI reserves the right to terminate the No Repeat Guarantee at any time, without notice.
Failure to comply with the rules may result in disqualification, at the sole discretion of WAJI.
WAJI is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the guarantee or in the announcements of any prize.
WAJI is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call.
As a consequence of delays in the online streaming of the WAJI signal compared to over-the-air broadcasts, online listeners may be at a disadvantage in attempting to participate in the No Repeat Guarantee. Entrants are encouraged to listen to the station on-air. WAJI is not responsible for online streaming delays.
All winners must claim their prize from WAJI, Majic 95.1 Studios: 347 West Berry Street, Suite 600, Fort Wayne, IN., within 30 days from the date won, otherwise they will forfeit the prize and it will become the property of WAJI.
Decisions of station management with respect to this contest are final.
WAJI makes no warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the nature of the prize awarded. If the No Repeat Guarantee is not capable of running as planned due to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical
failures, Force Majeure or any other causes beyond the control of WAJI which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, WAJI reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who WAJI believes has tampered with the process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the guarantee promotion. The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited.
